I'm attending the Raleigh, NC concert. What is the deal with cameras? I'm have a digital SLR camera with a zoom lens. Can I take pictures?

Re: Raleigh Camera
Similar topics have brought this up. Best to check with your local venue. They often set the rules.

as TBone stated, it is best to check with your local venue. The tour policy only applies to porfessional pghotographers shooting up front who can shoot the first three songs of each set with no flash. There are no restrictions for fans bringing still photo cameras unless the venue has set them.
Re: Raleigh Camera
Okay, I contacted the venue and here is the response I received:
Todd, I am not sure yet about the cameras policy, it's up to the band(s) their management, not the venue. Our typical venue policy is that small non-professional (no large, no
detachable lenses) with no flash are you allowed.
Once we know the policy we will post on the website, but try calling the Box
office few days before the show
Thanks!

I have tickets for the Regeneration Tour at the end of August. I have
contacted the sponsors of the tour and they referred me back to the
venue. Will cameras be allowed at the concert? I have a digital SLR
camera (with a zoom lens) and want to check before i bring the
camera. The promoters said it was up to the venue.
Thanks in advance for the assistance.

So basically I still know nothing. I'm just getting "circles in the sand." Little Regeneration Humor there!!!!

Please keep me updated on this thread-- I'd love to get some pictures of ABC & HL. Will be mostly busy dancing, though!

I'm heading to Raleigh tomorrow but I am totally bummed by this rain we are getting and supposed to continue getting. I hope it doesn't "dampen" the show too much!

Re: Raleigh Camera
just left the Raleigh show and it was great. Belinda was freaking incredible. I was wearing a t-shirt that said "I heart Belinda Carlisle" and as she left the stage she looked and mimed the words "I like your t-shirt." I was on cloud nine!!!
