Suggestions For 2011
Rick,
Although you haven't asked for them yet, since 2010 didn't work out, I'd like to start a topic offering suggestions for 2011.
To begin, I would renew my 2010 suggestion for
Blancmange (currently on tour).
I'm indicating the ones that are currently on tour just so we know they are actively performing, at least at the moment!
The others would be:
JoBoxers (according to Wikipedia, Dig Wayne is now in Los Angeles and is acting and touring with a new act)
China Crisis (currently on tour)
Pete Shelley/Buzzcocks/Magazine (currently on tour)
Madness (currently on tour)
OMD (currently on tour)
Sisters of Mercy (currently on tour)
The Smiths (currently on tour)
Echo & The Bunnymen (currently on tour)
Lightning Seeds
Bauhaus
The Specials
Tony Hadley/Spandau Ballet
Tones on Tail
Bad Manners
Waitresses
Bronski Beat
New Order
Bow Wow Wow
Adam Ant
Soft Cell
The Selecter
Pet Shop Boys
Tears For Fears
Stray Cats
The Fixx
The Cure
Yaz
Untouchables
Mick Jones/Big Audio Dynamite
Sparks
The Bolshoi
Josie Cotton
Siouxsie & The Banshees
Thompson Twins
X
The Jam
Of course, since ABC is my favorite 80s band, and second-favorite overall, I'd love to see them anytime. I just wish Mark White would perform with them just once more. Also, even though I saw the English Beat just a few months ago, they were still so awesome that I'd see them again, too!
Thanks for all your work in putting the Regeneration Tour together!
